Dizziness/lightheadedness

Dizziness is a sensation where one feels lightheaded, unsteady, or a spinning sensation. It can occur due to various reasons, ranging from benign causes to more severe underlying issues.

Common triggers for dizziness include sudden changes in position (like standing up quickly), dehydration, stress, anxiety, or certain medications. Inner ear problems, such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuritis, or Meniere's disease, can also lead to dizziness.

However, dizziness can also be a symptom of more serious conditions, such as low blood pressure, heart problems, anemia, neurological disorders, or even migraines.

Given the various potential causes and the fact that dizziness might accompany other symptoms, like chest pain or shortness of breath, it's crucial to consult if you experience persistent or severe dizziness. We can assess your symptoms, conduct necessary tests, and determine the underlying cause to provide appropriate treatment or management.
